Dundee
is known as the 'City of Discovery.' Scotland's forth city, with hills and glens as a backdrop and the mighty
river Tay on its doorstep, situated on the East Coast of Scotland. The city in times past was renowned for the three J's
- Jute, Jam and Journalism and is the home of Desperate Dan and The Beano. The comic book legends have been imortalised in
bronze within the City Square's pedestrianised precinct. In addition to Cow Pies, the city is infamous for Dundee Cake.
The city is compact and pedestrian-friendly, small enough to explore its many attractions on foot, without having
to worry about how to get to them. In the heart of the city, marked by the City Square with its historic civic buildings you'll find Overgate - a stylish modern shopping centre. This unique
mall has shops on one side with a massive glass wall on the other overlooking the city churches which include the Old Steeple,
Scotland's highest surviving medieval tower which can be viewed by arrangement.

Point come face to face with the 'Heroes of the Ice' and experience life in Antarctica with Captain Scott and his
