On the train:

Travel Guides:

A useful item to bring on board the tour is a good road atlas, or O.S. map (from your local libarary) A good investment is a rail atlas, these are available showing both the current network, and one that dates back to the Edwardian era showing lines and stations that have long since closed.

Real Ale:

On most trains 'hand pulled real ale' is available. Served in badged souvenir glasses, the beer is specially re- racked for the train.

Recycling:

On board the Green Express train bottles, cans and paper are collected for re-cycling.
